WASHINGTON– President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order directing U.S agencies to examine any security dangers from Chinese-made drones in American federal government fleets and to prioritize removing them.

Trump directed all U.S. agencies to lay out the security dangers positioned to the existing government drone fleet from drones constructed by Chinese business or by other nations deemed foreign enemies, including Russia, Iran and North Korea.

Last month, the U.S. Commerce Department included China’s SZ DJI Technology Co, the world’s biggest drone maker, to the U.S. federal government’s economic blacklist, along with lots of other Chinese business.
