Mastercard and Jennifer Hudson have actually collaborated to uplift Black women-owned companies across the country!

Mastercard has long been an advocate for the small company community and is reinforcing its previously announced half-billion-dollar investment to support Black communities with the introduction of the Striver’s Initiative, a consumer-facing platform intended to raise the presence of Black female entrepreneur who are leading the way for future generations, while encouraging consumers and organizations alike to store, share and support them.

As part of this initiative, Mastercard is introducing a grant program in partnership with Arian Simone‘s Fearless Fund, a VC fund developed by women of color for women of color, to provide Black women company owner throughout the U.S with required funding, however also take advantage of Mastercard digital tools to more bolster their digital existence of services.

Mastercard will kick off this platform with a nationwide ad spot including Grammy Award-winner and Mastercard ambassador Jennifer Hudson carrying out a will.i.am produced performance of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” which acts as the anthem behind the stories of eight Black females company owner throughout the country who are paving their Course to Priceless and whose companies function as pillars for their community.

This will be enhanced by a multi-city academic roadway show driving awareness of the state of ladies and minority-owned organization in cities across the U.S. offering insights and actions cities can require to promote an equitable organization climate in collaboration with Develop & Cultivate.
