The leader of the reactionary Proud Boys group posted an image online of a phony “Capitol Invasion” LEGO set, following Wednesday’s lethal pro-Trump riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Enrique Tarrio, chairman of the far-right organization, published the set of toy Trump-supporters inhabiting the Capitol on the social networks website Parler.

The doctored set includes characters based off of the real rioters who stormed the building, including Jake Angeli, likewise known as the QAnon Shaman. He was widely photographed during the raid using a fur hat and horns with red, white and blue face paint.

A representative for LEGO informed Newsweek on Saturday that “the product in question, is in no chance associated with the LEGO Group and the set is not a LEGO ® item. As a company devoted to influence and develop kids, we would naturally never ever make a product like this.”

The phony product has likewise been distributed by users on Reddit and Twitter.

The violent attack on the Capitol left at least 5 individuals dead, including Brian Sicknick, a Capitol cops officer and Iraq War veteran who sustained deadly injuries while trying to secure the structure.

Damage to the Capitol structure included shattered glass, broken windows, stolen property, and rummaged congressional offices.

Tarrio was detained ahead of the riots for apparently setting fire to a Black Lives Matter flag, and bring two high-capacity firearm magazines in D.C. before the demonstrations. He might face up to three years in jail.

On Friday, Nick Ochs, leader of the Proud Boys group in Hawaii, was arrested by federal authorities after positing a picture of himself inside the Capitol building smoking cigarettes a cigarette.

After Wednesday’s attack, the Proud Boys provided a declaration boasting about their involvement and said they would continue to “frighten” society.

” For a number of hours, our cumulative strength had politicians in Washington in outright terror. The treacherous pawns (polices) were also horrified,” a message on the Proud Boys’ main Telegram channel read.

” Things will get hard quickly but do not lose heart. We are growing and our unity will terrify the evil elites running this nation,” the message included.
