Emily Mitchell, an Instagram influencer and parenting blogger, passed away at age 36 while pregnant with her fifth kid.

The Rhode Island native and creator of The Concealed Method blog site passed away unexpectedly three days prior to Christmas, according to a fundraising page set up for her family. Emily, whose maiden name is Giancaspro, is survived by her husband Joseph Mitchell and their four children Finn, Isla, Eden and Luna

” Em was having her early morning coffee and toast when she unexpectedly ended up being unresponsive,” the fundraising page specified.

Emily was 16 weeks pregnant when she died. According to her online obituary, Emily was anticipating an infant boy called Joey.

While the majority of her Instagram focused around her homeschooling efforts with her children and other parenting subjects, in recent weeks, she shared pregnancy-related posts, including infant bump photos.

In early December, she composed to her Instagram fans that she was preparing to provide her boy through caesarean area, just like she finished with her 4 oldest children.

” This will be my FIFTH C-Section.” she composed. ” However your child gets here, just know YOUR EXPERIENCE stands and worthwhile. YOU are no less a mother if you needed emergency situation medical intervention, had a planned c-section, or an epidural. You aren’t a ‘better’ mom if you had a home birth or an unmedicated vaginal birth. And if you grew your brood through adoption or surrogacy or household mixing? Those are YOUR babies and YOU SIT PROUDLY at the table of motherhood.”

She added, “My strategy was never to have 5 c-sections. You can be sure I’m darn appreciative for them. Even if I did grieve with my first at losing out on what the ‘genuine motherhood experience’ was supposed to be. How I feel now? It doesn’t matter how they get here. It only matters THAT THEY GET HERE. And are so deeply LOVED.”

In addition to her husband and kids, Emily is also survived by her parents, three brother or sisters, in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
