One lucky Powerball player in Maryland struck the $730 million jackpot on 01/20/21, crashing the party for other gamers on inauguration day and setting the video game back to its minimum.

Now, the national jackpot will reset to $20 million, which changes the fourth-largest jackpot in the game’s history. Here are the numbers from Wednesday night’s 01/20/21 illustration:

There were 8 tickets offered that matched the first five numbers, and simply missed on the red Powerball, for the game’s second reward. Among those tickets, also offered in Maryland, is worth $2 million because they acquired the Power Play for an additional $1. The other seven tickets deserve $1 million apiece. They were sold in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey and Oregon.

Wednesday night’s 01/20/21 Powerball jackpot was approximated at $730 million, with a money alternative of $546 million. It was the fourth-highest jackpot in the game’s history.

Powerball jackpots begin at $20 million, and other rewards pay from $1 million to $2 million with a Power Play. Like Powerball, the jackpot is reset at $20 million after a prize is won, and one line of numbers is $2, with a $1 option to multiply their profits with a Megaplier.

The Mega Millions prize is now at $970 million, the second-highest in that game’s history.
