Sinbad is in on the repair after a health scare.

The 64- year-old comedian, known for his functions in Jingle All the Way and A Different World, is recuperating after suffering a stroke, his family verified to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, Nov.16 ” It runs out sincere love that we share Sinbad, our cherished husband and father, is recuperating from a recent stroke,” the household’s declaration read. “Sinbad is a light source of love and pleasure for many generations.”

The declaration from liked ones kept in mind that while Sinbad (née David Adkins) is “beginning his roadway to recovery,” they are “faithful and positive that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon.” His family also requested personal privacy as the actor recovers.

And who could forget Sinbad’s function in 1997’s Good Burger together with Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson? In reality, it was just a few months ago that the 2 stars thought back about the renowned film during a virtual reunion.

Sinbad has yet to speak out publicly about his stroke. E! News has reached out to his rep for comment.
