The launch preparedness date for the James Webb Space Telescope is transferring to no earlier than December22to enable extra screening of the observatory, following a current occurrence that happened throughout Webb’s launch preparations.

The occurrence happened throughout operations at the satellite preparation center in Kourou, French Guiana, carried out under Arianespace total duty.
