Innovation company GitHub has asked forgiveness for shooting a Jewish worker who cautioned his coworkers about the presence of Nazis in Washington on the day of the attack of the U.S. Capitol previously this month, TechCrunch reported.

GitHub, which is based in San Francisco, fired the unnamed employee on Jan. 8 however later engaged an outdoors detective to perform a probe after other employees complained about the action.
