A Los Angeles County deputy constable was killed in a lorry mishap while making a traffic stop in Lakewood.

Thomas J. Albanese, 41, was eliminated in the accident at the crossway of Del Amo Boulevard and Paramount Boulevard in the City of Lakewood on February25 He was taking a trip on Paramount Boulevard towards Del Amo when he tried to carry out a traffic stop of a car ahead of him.

As Albanese got in the crossway, he was struck by a sedan taking a trip westbound.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated the force of the accident was severe and Albanese passed away instantly.

The department stated in a declaration: “Deputy Albanese was a seven-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Department. He began his career with the Constable’s Department as a security assistant in 2013 in the Aero Bureau.

” In 2015, he took an oath of office to serve his duties as a peace officer consistently and was appointed to Men’s Central Jail. He went to patrol at the Transit Provider Bureau and after that moved to Lakewood Station as a Field Training Officer.

” Deputy Albanese’s last task was as a Pico Rivera Station Motor Deputy but was working overtime at the Lakewood Station when the tragic accident occurred.”

Deputy Albanese is endured by his better half of 12 years, Erica, and his two young boys.

Anthony Whittle, a deputy fire chief with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, told NBC the driver of the automobile was examined at the scene.

In January, a Florida deputy was eliminated while on duty just one shift before he was due to retire.
