A fan of President Donald Trump was apprehended after federal authorities identified him as the guy who apparently stormed the U.S. Capitol with rioters while bring a handful of zip-ties– as caught by viral pictures circulating online.

Eric Gavelek Munchel, 30, of Tennessee, was detained in his state on Sunday and charged with “one count of intentionally entering or remaining in any restricted structure or premises without lawful authority and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol premises,” the Department of Justice (DOJ) stated in a declaration.

Authorities alleged that Munchel was inside the Capitol building throughout last Wednesday’s mob attack.

” Photos depicting his existence show a person who seems Munchel carrying plastic restraints, an item in a holster on his ideal hip, and a cellular phone installed on his chest with the cam dealing with outward, ostensibly to tape events that day,” the DOJ stated.

Prior to his arrest, residents utilized online materials to recognize Munchel as the zip-tie bring rioter, with some sharing screenshots of his Facebook page to social media.

Other users found images revealing the suspect marching at protests in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, and also at comparable pro-Trump demonstrations in Nashville.

According to NewsChannel 5, Munchel was booked into Nashville prison at 2: 50 p.m. local time.

Brock “unlawfully got in the U.S. Capitol wearing a green helmet, green tactical vest with spots, black and camouflage coat, and beige trousers holding a white flex cuff, which is utilized by law enforcement to limit and/or apprehend subjects,” according to authorities.

The two cases will be prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Workplace for the District of Columbia and the DOJ National Security Department’s Counterterrorism Section.
