Marilyn Manson Speaks Out After Abuse Claims

Dita Von Teese is speaking out about the abuse allegations leveraged versus her ex-husband, Marilyn Manson.

In a declaration shared to her Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 3, the burlesque dancer and underwear designer stated she had been “processing the news” about Marilyn, who she was quickly wed to in between 2005 and2006

” To those who have actually expressed your concerns of my wellness, I appreciate your kindness,” Dita expressed, prior to adding, “Please know that the information revealed do not match my individual experience during our 7 years together as a couple.”

” Had they,” she continued, “I would have not married him in December2005 I left 12 months later on due to infidelity and substance abuse.”

Dita concluded, “Abuse of any kind has no location in any relationship. I advise those of you have sustained abuse to take steps to heal and the strength to fully recognize yourself.”

” Clearly, my art and my life have actually long been magnets for controversy, but these current claims about me are horrible distortions of reality,” the shock-rocker stated in a statement shared to Instagram on Feb. 1.

” No matter how– and why– others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth,” he added.

Marilyn has yet to deal with Dita’s remarks about their marriage, however this isn’t the very first time she’s blamed their break up on the artist’s questionable ways.

In a 2007 interview with The Daily Telegraph, the pinup design implicated Marilyn of having an “unsuitable relationship” with another woman during their marriage.

” I get the impression he believes I was unsupportive,” she kept in mind at the time. “However the fact is I wasn’t supportive of his way of life, and somebody else occurred who was.”

Marilyn would go on to tell Spin magazine, “To play devil’s supporter– but that doesn’t really work, given that I’m the devil– individuals would say that drugs and alcohol damaged my marital relationship. Purchaser beware. She stated she had endured the lifestyle due to the fact that she hoped I would change and threatened to leave if I didn’t.”

Because of the accusations versus Marilyn, his upcoming looks on Shudder’s Creepshow and Starz’ American Gods were scrapped. The vocalist’s record label, Loma Vista Recordings, also dropped him.
