Not so fast! Chris Harrison attended to speculation that The Bachelor‘s Katie Thurston will be season 17’s Bachelorette after reports appeared earlier this month.
” We did not name her or any person the next Bachelorette throughout the Ladies Tell All unique,” Harrison told Additional correspondent Rachel Lindsay on Tuesday, February 9, referencing deceptive remarks that the next lead is revealed during the TELEVISION special, which does not have an air date yet. “In reality, we didn’t even talk who was the next Bachelorette.”
The Bachelor Nation host, 49, included: “As far as I know [neither], Katie, [nor anybody else] has been called the next Bachelorette. And I promise you this, it will not belong of the Talk unique at all.”
The former Who Wishes to Be a Millionaire host teased the upcoming Ladies Talk episode, stating that Katie “remained in the hot spot as were a number of other women” from Matt James‘ season. He kept in mind that he “didn’t even ask her if she wished to be the Bachelorette or even if she wanted to do that.”
According to Harrison, “There’s a large argument still going” on surrounding who will be the franchise’s most recent leading girl, following in Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams‘ footsteps from last season.
Katie, 30, was sent out home on the Monday, February 8, episode of The Bachelor after having an one-on-one date with James where the pair pranked his BFF Tyler Cameron The former football gamer, 29, revealed that he had other relationships that were even more along before letting her go.
The bank marketing supervisor turned heads on night one, when she brought a vibrator as she met James. She later on won over Bachelor Country after protecting the ladies in your home who were being bullied during the season.
OG Bachelorette Trista Sutter signed up with Us Weekly’s “Here for the Right Factors” podcast on Monday and weighed in on the speculation that Katie will be the next lead after her unexpected departure.
” I do believe she ‘d be a fantastic Bachelorette. I have actually heard those reports [but] I simply do not know. I seem like it’s quite early although,” the TELEVISION personality, 48, told United States “I do like Katie. I think she would be fantastic. I think that [she has] so many parts of what I believe generally make fantastic Bachelorettes. … She is genuine, she’s willing to get down deep into her thoughts and share those ideas, you understand, expressing what’s happening with her.”
Sutter, who found love with husband Ryan Sutter on season 1 of the ABC series in 2003, exposed that she “would actually like to see her” as the Bachelorette, however thinks Katie is more likely to appear on Bachelor in Paradise
