Joe Biden’s presidency began Wednesday with a “Parade Across America,” which was designed by the Biden-Harris administration to showcase songs and talents from throughout the country, while everyone is separated due to COVID.

With singing, dancing and a couple of familiar faces, a joyful parade streamed live on Biden’s inauguration site. Once Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris left Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, the parade started.

So, to raise the spirits of Americans and to show a united country, Parade Throughout America was designed to inspire neighborhood and display talent from all parts of America.

The parade was hosted by a preferred, fictional president: Tony Goldwyn, likewise referred to as President Fitzgerald Grant III on Shonda Rhimes’ hit program Scandal

The parade featured entertainers from every state and U.S. territory. It started with two drum lines, one from the University of Delaware and one from Howard University– the universities of Biden and Harris– as they escorted the brand-new president and vice president house.

Later, bands from across the nation appeared with their own efficiencies. The parade wasn’t limited to music, though. Dance numbers, familiar online faces and a list of heroes were celebrated, too.

An anesthesiologist who discovered fame on TikTok, Dr. Jason Campbell, was featured due to his objective of spreading out compassion and joy throughout such a challenging year in the medical neighborhood.

Another name on the heroes list, which was launched by the Biden administration by means of press release, follows in Campbell’s generosity steps. Jason Zgonc, a 12- year-old trumpet player, had the ability to play a duet with his musical idol, Ethan Bensdorf of the New York City Philharmonic. Zgonc used his skill to amuse important hospital workers on their breaks throughout the pandemic.

And there was more. The United States Coast Guard Band and the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Squad carried out, and even High School Musical filmmaker and choreographer Kenny Ortega choreographed a dance for the parade, too.

Viewers from around the country were impressed and influenced by the event, which premiered toward completion of the inauguration day festivities. Twitter users published sweet notes about the collection of talents, from inspiring people to terrific music.

Naturally, there were memes about the parade, or about inauguration day in general. An image of Senator Bernie Sanders using comfortable mittens made the rounds on Wednesday, and fell under the parade discussion, too.

Others pointed to the oddity that was a parade with no audience. During a non-COVID year, there would be countless cheering bystanders. Some who talked about the vacuum of the parade were vocally opposed to Biden’s management.

Many also showed respect for what the parade represents. Wants security and prosperity were found online, and some admitted to being afraid for the safety of the brand-new leaders. As Biden and family stepped out of their automobile to walk some of the parade route, Twitter users issued notes of concern after violent riots by advocates of previous President Trump took control of the Capitol on January 6.

The parade makes me kinda sad, TBH. It looks like they’re driving through a war zone.

Biden and his household made it safely to the White House after strolling a few of the parade. After, a digital parade continued to celebrate the skills of Americans all over, and to thank heroes who have actually risked their lives for others during the pandemic.
