Cory and Topanga, together again! Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage reunited to discover love in Panera’s epic brand-new Valentine’s Day ad that includes some iconic romcom moments!
Nineties kids, this one’s for you. Every teenager’s preferred TELEVISION couple, Cory and Topanga, reunited for Panera’s extraordinary brand-new Valentine’s Day advertisement! Young Boy Meets World alums Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel star in the heartfelt (and oh-so tacky) parody for the brand of the most renowned minutes in romantic motion picture history– with flatbread pizza connecting it all together.
Danielle and Ben invested nearly 10 years playing teen lovebirds Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence in the wholehearted Disney dramedy, which followed their group of good friends from intermediate school to college. Danielle and Ben are all matured now– 39 and 40 years of ages, respectively– however fans still consider them endgame after investing years following their onscreen romance. Ben and Danielle aren’t together IRL (she wed Jensen Karp in 2018), but for one short Panera commercial we got to see what could have been.
The ad shows Danielle and Ben having a fulfill adorable after ordering the same flatbread pizza. Cue a series of lovable romantic film tropes: Ben closing the pizza box on Danielle’s fingers, an enormous fight about “wanting me to want” the last slice, and Ben professing his love through hint cards Love Actually design.
This wasn’t the very first time we saw Ben and Danielle reunite onscreen, or as their Kid Fulfills World personalities. The stars starred in the spinoff Woman Fulfills World, which operated on the Disney Channel from 2014 to2017 The show exposed that Cory and Topanga stayed together and had a child, Riley Matthews ( Rowan Blanchard). Riley was the center of the show, and Cory served as the Mr. Feeny surrogate by teaching his daughter’s history class at their New York City school. They all genuinely came cycle!
