Thirteen distinctive Hermès purses were reported taken from a shop in Florida previously this month after the window fronting the display screen was smashed in the middle of the night, according to WPTV in West Palm Beach.
The bags are valued at about $1 million, Virgil Rogers, owner of the Only Authentics shop, informed the television station.
Rogers stated the burglary happened the night of Dec. 14, when a window showing the shop’s collection of 30 years of Hermès and Chanel bags was smashed, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.
Eight Birkin and 5 Kelly bags were taken, with numerous valued at over $100,000 each, Rogers stated. Just Authentics has 2 Hermès Birkin bags on its site noted for $480,000, with a lot of Birkins priced from $17,000 to $90,000, the Daily News reported.
